Invitation and Venue

It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 10th International Congress of the Serbian Society of Mechanics, which will be held in Niš, Serbia, from June 18-20, 2025. Niš is one of the oldest cities in Europe and serves as the administrative center of the Nišava District. The city boasts a rich history dating back to ancient times, having been an important Roman settlement. Notable historical landmarks include the Niš Fortress, a well-preserved Ottoman fortification, and the Skull Tower, a unique monument commemorating the Serbian struggle for independence. Today, Niš thrives as a dynamic cultural and economic hub, renowned for its universities and festivals

Objectives

The 10th International Congress of the Serbian Society of Mechanics aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers, and scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results in various aspects of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics. The Congress will provide an interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners, and educators to present and discuss the latest innovations, theories, algorithms, and practical challenges, as well as the solutions adopted in fields such as Classical Mechanics, Solid and Fluid Mechanics, Computational Mechanics, Biomechanics, Applied Mathematics and Physics, Structural Mechanics, and Engineering, as well as novel branches of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence through which mechanics is interwoven.
